You can drive to Yelcho in Patagonia through Argentina, crossing in Puyehue (Osorno) to Villa La Angostura and arriving in Bariloche, 125 kilometers from the border (Cardenal Zamoré). Esquel is 300 kilometers from Bariloche and Futaleufú is 73 kilometers (the last 40 kilometers are dirt roads). From Futaleufú to Yelcho there is a 100 kilometer stretch of dirt road, taking about 2 hours by car.
